y'know, I'm not sure I want to text you anymore (had I a cellophone), given that you might be on the toilet... O.O

Kindle and kindred devices are a nightmare to those of us with low vision. Few if any can be used horizontally and none that I know of can enlarge text to a 24pt or 30pt font. It's a great idea for most people.

Actually, the Kindle has always had adjustable font sizes, and I think it tops out at 24. The PDF update (and yes, PDFs are way too small since they're always fit-to-screen) also allows for screen rotation.

Landscape mode, maximum font:

hmmm, maybe I was dealing with the kindle 1 or something. In any event, it's too small for me.

Too bad. So sad.

400 lbs plan:

EEEEEW! Cool! EEEEW ICK AGH EW! Clever. EEEEECK EWW! Hey what book would it be for?

What made you think of that, anyway? That skin-book in Xanth? The ending of Goldmember? Never mind, don't want to know, answer the other question instead.

I was thinking it'd be for my Book of Shadows. That way, when I die, I could put it in my will to have it anonymously dropped off at the local police station with no explanation. Hey, I believe in consciousness separated from the body (including when the body no longer functions), I'd still get to watch the show!

I can imagine lots of people who I could have expected to come up with a plan like that, and you were not one of the people who I had imagined coming up with a plan like that.

It's just been that kind of week, really.

...Necronomicon? Book of Eibon?
