*headdesk* of the day
headwall, frustration
I did a Google search, trying to get better information on one of the professions in some of Mercedes Lackey's books.

The fourth/fifth result (depending upon whether or not you count the secondary Wikipedia hit) was of someone on Meetup.com using it as his own title, with Ms. Lackey's meaning, in a "traditionalist" Druidic group.

I have no problem with people saying "we're reconstructionist" (because there aren't good continuous sources, much less written ones, for a lot of stuff), or with what a woman I know refers to as "we made it up and it's true"/"we don't have the ancients' rituals, but we do have their sources" (because if there's anything to religion or gods, a contemporary human has access to the same subconscious or supernatural inspiration that someone a couple of millennia ago did). But some people are just silly: if your inspiration is built heavily on an sf or fantasy novel, you aren't a traditional Druid.

Btw, your link is broken (extra http).

That... shall be used in one of my games...
The Druid that Isn't!
