Twitters of the day

  • 08:16 Sick. Some sort of head cold; fortunately, it's not respiratory. Working from home to avoid spreading it, and to get extra sleep. #
  • 13:28 Awake again; I woke up at my usual time, belched out an e-mail to my boss, then went back to bed for, appparently, five more hours. #
  • 13:37 @toydragon Well, that's extremely cute. And, of course, extremely well done. :) #
  • 14:22 So much <3 for the combo of an XBOX 360, good Altec Lansing 5.1 speakers, and my MP3 library. Great environment for work! #
  • 14:41 @Palshife But will it still fit comfortably in your lap, even with dramatically swollen testicles? #
  • 14:42 Part of the fun of Twitter is knowing damn well that large parts of my audience will have no context for my conversational remarks. #
  • 14:53 @nidonocu I often do, but I'm not always at a computer; I and my unlimited text plan often use my cell phone. #
  • 17:41 Today would have been more productive had the servers that let me connect to Corpnet from home not also spent the day asleep and unwell. #
  • 18:09 @Miktar It's like compressing all the ad time to the front, and using it to play Street Fighter- a much better use of that time, I'd say! #
  • 18:10 I'm slightly unused to the idea of ad breaks more than one commercial long, or TV you can't pause. I'm too adapted to Hulu. #
  • 18:26 @lastresort Only by comparison, and only if you actually have a traditional TV signal to be annoyed by! #
  • 19:18 www.myscienceproject.org Is absolutely hilarious. I recommend it highly, as long as you've got the time to read it. #
  • 19:45 @Miktar Weird. I've had store brand microwave popcorn last a couple of years past the date- in an old, crappy, underpowered microwave. #
  • 20:08 @Miktar Sh, I suspect that would make a difference. I'm too lazy to have ever tried stove popcorn. I really should some time... #
