On my parents' recommendation, when I showed them my home thermometer as part of a video call, I bought a few humidifiers. They're helping, but there's a lot of work to do! I'm going through distilled water at a stupid rate, but it's cheap and it's easier than having to descale the thing four times as often. (I know I'll still need to do it, but less is less.)
I get irrationally excited every time the indoor thermometer/humidity-sensor informs me the indoor relative humidity is up another percentage point. It's all the way up to 28%, when it was 18% yesterday! I'm aiming for 35% or so.I've migrated to DreamWidth. The original post is at http://kistaro.dreamwidth.org/495805.html.
