So for those who haven't seen it before, I highly recommend Garkov as a highly amusing example of Markov chains in action. Using the entire history of Garfield as an input, it is a system that uses Markov chains to generate Garfield strips. Some of them are even plausible. Many aren't, such as this one, and yet they retain an unspeakable Dadaist beauty.

Apropos of nothing - if you have some time soon, toss me an IM? Tonight I'm completely free, tomorrow before 9pm (your time) is open too. Rest of the week, before 9pm your time is safe, some nights might be open later, I haven't really scheduled the week up yet.

Just... stuff happening, want to talk about it and get my head back on straight. Nothing unusual or urgent.

Ooooh! I haven't had this much fun endlessly refreshing a random generator since Warehouse 23! Here are my favorite Garkovs. (With the exception of one that got away, where Jon asked whether he should wear the pickle or the squish.)

Thoughtless

Slam!

They're both amusing, but I definitely prefer "Slam". The more sense the random generator makes, the better.

Sometimes this can be taken to disturbing extremes. Even the panels lined up, sort of.
